Ms. Rivas possesses over thirteen years of experience as certified clinical social worker that is bilingual and multicultural. She has experience working with many different populations, including LGBTQ+ people, substance users, as well as survivors of violence from intimate partners. Since 2019 Ms. Rivas provides services to Erie residents. She is now offering telehealth mental health services. Mrs. Rivas belongs to the Behavioral health Perinatal team that works with pregnancies as well as postpartum women. She is trained in trauma-informed and adult EMDR. She offers individual and group counseling, as well as a Medication-Assisted Treatment program, referrals to specialist care and women's support groups. Amanda is also a volunteer at Best Friends Animal Society. Amanda assists homeless animals find new home.
